Cuil, the Google-killer killed itself
Just got online today after a few days-off trekking. Cuil, a new search engine from ex-Google engineers. It was tagged as the Google-killer and I was exited to try it today, but I can't open the site. I immediately sent an instant message to my online friends scattered around the globe (yeah, having them helps troubleshooting internet routing-related problems) and got the news that Cuil's servers crashed. Seems that it killed itself on Day 1. Well, I hope they're up & ready ASAP as I still want to try-out their approach in searching information online. Peace. |
